Vacation

With my maternity leave winding down and our two year anniversary around the corner, we decided to get out of town again.  Since we had such a great time in Savannah, GA in July (see post here)... we headed back to the Westin for the long holiday weekend with some friends of ours.

I didn't realize this last time, but the Westin has a huge salt water pool!  We took Sienna swimming for the first time ever, and she loved it.  It was great not having to worry about chlorine and other chemicals.  Instead, I knew she could only benefit from some time in a salty pool!

Last time my mom came to visit she brought down some old baby items of mine.  One of these items was a little pink and white striped bathing suit which I wore when I was about 4 or 5 months old.  I brought the suit with us to Savannah and it fit Sienna perfectly!  Can you tell who is who in the picture below?

At least we know where she got her chubby cheeks and legs from now!

After a great couple of days of sunshine, delicious food, and fun with friends, we headed up to Myrtle Beach for a surprise visit to my in-laws.  Needless to say, Joe's family was ecstatic to see us pop in and the opportunity to love on Sienna for a night.  

Overall, it was a great little getaway for the three of us.  I'm sad to be returning to work next week, but know I will cherish each moment with Sienna even more!
