4 Months Old

Monday celebrated the four month mark for Sienna.  I really can't believe it's been that long since she was born.  It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant!

Our sweet girl weighed in at 15lbs 9ozs at her four month wellness check that morning.  She's almost doubled her birth weight in just four short months!  Her weight gain has slowed a little compared to previous months as she's fallen from the 97th percentile for weight to the 76th percentile, however, her pediatrician wasn't even the least bit concerned with that dip.  I'm sure I'm reading into things a little too much, but I can only hope this isn't an indicator of her nearing pancreatic insufficiency.

Sienna has also grown 5 inches since birth, measuring 25 inches even this week.  All this length has her in size six month clothes, which she may even grow out of soon!

Developmentally, she's a textbook baby.  Si even impressed her pediatrician by showing off her rolling over skills at her appointment.  Her newest thing right now is screaming.  She's found her voice and is learning what those vocal cords can do!  She's also grabbing, holding, and trying to eat pretty much anything she can (you know - her toys, blankets, my hair...).  We broke out the Lion King bouncer for some new excitement and she will literally just sit in it and laugh and scream (good screams, not cries).  She's really hilarious to watch.  Even Joba has warmed up to her!

Getting so big!
I can't believe my little girl has gotten so big so quickly.  I love watching her learn and grow and change.  Go Sienna!
