My Happy Baby
I'd like to take a break from reflecting on how CF impacts our life, and instead focus on how it doesn't. It's so easy to dwell on the frightening reality of having a child with CF that we sometimes forget to live in the moment.
The picture below is one of my all time favorites of Sienna. I think it sums up her personality perfectly. She doesn't have a care in the world. She's happy. She's determined (when she wants THAT toy, she goes after it).
That same afternoon, I took Sienna on a run where we stopped at the playground for some fun on the swings. She loved watching everyone around her - she's so interested in what's going on, yet so mellow at the same time.
I know I'm a bit biased here, but I'm pretty sure I have the sweetest and coolest baby there is.
